  1. Hi Everyone, My name is Mikhail Siskoff and I'm a collage artist from Anchorage Alaska. I do mostly analog (hand cut) paper collages from vintage magazines and books such as old school textbooks that I find at thrift stores, usually from the throw-away bin, so I'm giving these materials new purpose. I try to create imaginative, surreal images that spark curiosity. I started to do collage about 2 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it and I think I'm getting better all the time. So far I've done an art show at a local restaurant/bar and I've been featured in my local indie paper's art and entertainment section where I had a double page feature as well as the cover! I've also been commissioned to create cover art for that same paper several times. I do commission work upon request and all originals are for sale unless marked otherwise. I do some digital work and some analog film photography with antique film cameras as well. Please follow me on social media and check out my website below. Contact me if you'd like to collaborate on projects, I'm open to new ideas. 15. Hand study, digital drawing

Hi, I would like to show you a few stages of the drawing process of a study I did on my pc with Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. First of all, I begin to give a warm colour as a background and then I draw the basic shape paying attention to the proportions. I continue adding more details and accentuating the shapes, then I add a horizon line which allows me to start composing a landscape. (The tangled lines you see above right are the proofs to look for the adequate setting for my pen). Here I draw the lines to define lights and shadows in my composition. Now I change my pen for a pencil, my drawing starts to look more like a painting. That was my goal, of course! Here, a big change! I add a green / blue layer with a gradient to yellow for the background. Another layer of a brown colour with a gradient towards a lighter brown is placed. This layer reaches the horizon line that I drew previously. Then, I draw some vanishing lines to give a sense of deep to the composition. I finished this study by adding several layers of colours above the drawing that was in shades of grey. Thanks so much for regarding!! Hope you enjoyed it. 16. Dear Reader, First off all I would like to thank Applebyte, now ArtByte for great initiatives and congratulate everybody with the explosive growth on all channels. My name is Jacobus Arts from The Netherlands but you can call me Jacco. I am an autodidact fascinated with all forms of expression. My art has a direct association with esoteric knowledge, spiritualism, sjamanism and the psychoanalisis. During moments of deep trance "mindstamps" are created wich are mostly abtract in form. After mirroring the whole a figurative and symbolical language starts to unravel in the digital world. Please feel free to click on the video or banner to visit my gallery website where I'm presenting streetart, tribal art and fine art from various talented artists. 17. Introducing: Myself

Well, hello everyone! I'm Mikhail and I just discovered Artybytes and this community when I was gifted some Artbytes on Reddit. I'm a visual artist and photographer from Anchorage Alaska and I'm probably most well known for my collage art. I make hand-cut paper collages from old magazines and books as well as an occasional digital collage. I also do a lot of analog photography from my collection of thrift store film cameras.
