  3. Hello World!

Hello everyone. My name is Rodrigo Lopes, aka Rodd Lopes. I'm from Brazil and have been drawing and painting since I was a small child. I never used traditional media, which means I've always used digital ways to create my art. Well, except for the time I was a child and used paper and pencil :). Today I paint and draw in Photoshop, Procreate (Ipad) and Sketchbook Pro. I don't have a certain recognizable style if you will. Some people say they can see something in common in all my artworks but I'm not so sure, I usually paint very different themes as Sci-Fi, landscapes, portraits etc. I really don't consider myself a professional artist, first because I don't work with art, I have a job which is quite far from creating art, secondly because I think I still have a long way to go, there are so many things I'm still struggling to learn. I'm a self-taught artist, actually I'm self-taught in pretty much all I know in life, English included. My mother language is Brazilian Portuguese. I like making friends and talking about art, movies, series and books. I'm outgoing and friendly towards everyone. I hope you guys like my artwork. Thanks for having me in this Forum. 5. Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I hope the category I chose is right. I'm Martith, a Polish artist adventuring abroad (currently Chile), self-proclaimed fox fanatic, with nature as a close second I'm self-taught, painting digitally for almost 6 years now. I love painting animals and doing photo studies. I'd love to present you some of my artworks. For photo studies I use mostly pictures licensed with CC0 license. Some of the artworks I've made are commissions, therefore I used photos belonging to their rightful owners My portfolio: http://martith.art ArtByte address: AV8cu6oG2tCBwbapsz3Xxhu6R2fshGES6h Other art socials: DeviantArt | YouTube | Instagram | ArtStation Thanks for checking out ♥
  6. A Me of Most Trades

Hello, everyone. My name is Andrew Pydynkowski, and I create traditional and digital art along with some work in areas of graphic design such as logos. I am from central Minnesota, and graduated from college with a BFA in 2D Studio Art, but plan on going back for a Mixed Media or Graphic Design BFA followed up with an MFA eventually... hopefully. Most of what I used to make was random at the best of times; my main problem being I prefer to switch around my mediums and styles in which I work. My senior review professor said my studio looked like it was shared by 10 different artists, which is a nice double-edged sword of a phrase. Currently most of my art is made at the request of others, and I have lacked the motivation to create on my own time for my own purposes. After college I have been out of the loop from any real artist community and it has added to the things that hinder my work. Hopefully being part of a good artist community again such as here on these forums can allow me to build up some inspiration and confidence, and to in turn give the same back to others. So I look forward to talking shop and more with everyone on their artwork. You can check out some of my work here at my website. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope to see you all around. 7. 2D Character Art

The title here basically captures it. I do a lot of characters. I illustrate a lot of my own projects. It's a hobby/obsession sort of thing. I started with oil painting, but gravitated toward digital after I began to understand some of the health risks associated with many of the ingredients in oil paints, turpentine, etc. AFviqo1G9sdcg58ovVuSLFgkF184jhC2co
  8. ovko - New Media Artist

Hello everyone, I'm ovko, a contemporary visual artist from the USA. My creative process typically starts out in the physical then moves into the digital. Fascinated by abstraction, color, shapes and perspectives I create with an intention of the viewer becoming lost in the piece. A few of my latest works from my Geometric Future series are below. Cryptocurrency is an absolutely fascinating sector and I'm looking forward to see the development of ArtByte! http://ryanovsienko.com/ https://ello.co/ovko http://www.behance.net/ryanovsienko ArtByte Address: AJcgT5ak316MEJHkeF2m9UJR7FUx7UkYWP

  18. Howdy

Hello, everyone. My name is Andrew, and I make art in many forms. Since graduating college I have not had much in the way of an artist community. This has lead to a bit of a drop in motivation and production of new works. It seems like joining up here can help with that and get me motivated to create at the pace I should, and to return the favor to others again. I almost ignored the ABY tip on a post that lead me here, but I am glad I did not after just a brief look around. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has going on in their world. 21. I made a piece of "Welcome" art for my brother after he moved into his new home with his family, just a little handcraft piece. I gave it to him last Christmas and he and his fiance said I should make it into a design to sell as well. So I went about making a digital version of the design. This is the original piece I made for him. Nothing fancy, but he really likes Dungeons & Dragons so was super happy to get it. And here is the digital version, it also happens to be what got me my first ABY tip a few days back to send me here. I also have it up on Threadless for scoring for two more days, and for sale in my store if people are interested. Either way I just wanted to share and hope people like it.

  23. Hand study, digital drawing

Hi, I would like to show you a few stages of the drawing process of a study I did on my pc with Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. First of all, I begin to give a warm colour as a background and then I draw the basic shape paying attention to the proportions. I continue adding more details and accentuating the shapes, then I add a horizon line which allows me to start composing a landscape. (The tangled lines you see above right are the proofs to look for the adequate setting for my pen). Here I draw the lines to define lights and shadows in my composition. Now I change my pen for a pencil, my drawing starts to look more like a painting. That was my goal, of course! Here, a big change! I add a green / blue layer with a gradient to yellow for the background. Another layer of a brown colour with a gradient towards a lighter brown is placed. This layer reaches the horizon line that I drew previously. Then, I draw some vanishing lines to give a sense of deep to the composition. I finished this study by adding several layers of colours above the drawing that was in shades of grey. Thanks so much for regarding!! Hope you enjoyed it.
