  1. Love

Love This is one of my first poems I wrote when I was a kid. What is Love? It makes you get up in the morning, It makes you feel like your scoring. It makes you feel like you can fly, and makes you feel so high! Nothing else matters! Not even the hot baseball batter! What is love? Maybe one day it will come with out fear, but for now that what I hear. By: Kristen Cathey
  2. kmcathey

Hi, My name is Kristen Cathey and I am new to this forum and want to introduce myself. I am a writer who is in the process of publishing my first book. Hopefully I will be able to give more information on when the book is released. I am still going through the editing process with my editor and then I will start working on the marketing campaign. I hope to get to know everyone here and learn more about this community. Kristen
  3. Always happens to me

It always happens, I need to go somewhere and today pick up my son, and I think about my book the and what I want to write. Then the perfect thought comes through and the perfect sentence. The next thing I know I have to find some place to pull over to write down my thought before I forget. Does that happen to anybody else out their.
  4. Editing

I just finished going through chapters 9 and 10 on my book and sent them off to the editor. I am just so excited to get my book done and published to the world. Has anyone else felt excited to share their work with others? And what did you share?
  5. Finally getting some time

I finally have some time to write and I am in the zone, the writing zone. My mind is going a mile a minute and I have to take breaks for my finger sake. I wish I could move faster though. I only have so much time to work on my second book between spending time with my family and getting my 1st book ready to be published. But I want to keep my creative mind flowing and moving forward. I want to keep this process moving forward so I can show the publishing company that I am serious about my series. So much to do and such little time to balance everything. Life is short and I want to be able to accomplish my dreams. I have to work, work, work. For now back to work.
  6. Lost in thought

Thoughts are dancing in my head distracting from the days work. I really need sometime to sit down and write or my story will not leave me alone. The daydreams in my head take me to some far away adventure that is of course more interesting then real life and I just want to dance with my characters. Does this ever happen to anyone else?
